"I've got your back, okay?" Another Banescale had said to her. They had hatched around the same time and gravitated towards each other. Sornieth was a vast place to explore, and neither of them had a clue, but they were young.

And they should have been free too. They had plans to go to Wind together. Until some Gaolers found them when they were winding down for a night. It seems they hadn't hid their tracks quite well.

Despite both their pleas and feeble attempts at fighting back, the two were taken to separate courts. She chose her own name from this. She forged her soul and will, and perhaps one day she would see her friend again.

She was transferred to the Airship eventually, since the courts couldn't hold her forever. She was bitter and vowed to be free, and aid with the Banescale Rebellion. She befriended Glykys and Zoiros easily, although one day she met Enkavma. He was in a similar situation, but this time, she could truly say," I've got your back, okay?"
