THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY:
PART 1: The War
Banescales and Gaolers had always had tensions. Scuffles, territory fights, battles.. But nothing on this scale. This was war.
(for context: read "Born In Fire And Flame" by Aequorin. this is what I am referring to, I'm just summarizing it for the first part of this bio)
Immense battles took place, with huge plumes of magma warring with massive whirls of ice. Banescales and Gaolers used their magic to fight war against each other.
The war had concluded with a freezing vortex of ice and snow annihilating all of the Banescale Swarm. No longer could the Banescales take the territory of Ice for themselves as they so desired. Their hopes of expanding their volcanic lands were over.
When the Gaolers entered the Banescale lair, they shattered the frozen figures of Banescales. Not a single living Banescale had survived the catastrophic ice storm, and all succumbed to the cold.
But when the Gaolers found the chamber of eggs, the central nursery, the Supreme Banescale Nursery, the place that bore the eggs of Flamecaller's children, they could not bring it to themself to shatter the guarding Banescales or the eggs that they tried to protect.
The Gaolers sealed the whole chamber with ice magic. The Banescales had perished. The eggs would stay there forever, never to see the light of day...
Until one day.
PART 2: The Unleashing
It was hundreds of years later, the time of the Bounty of the Elements.
Magical lava flow had drawn itself towards the ancient hatchery, breaking the frozen seals and filling the lair with a warm, fiery light. The eggs began to pulse, then glow with a bright intensity, then crack.
Thousands of hatchlings left their eggs that they had been in for centuries, happy to finally be free, to see the skies and lands of Sornieth. Razalkia Jewel was one of them.

PART 3: Razalkia, the Banescale
Razalkia was a slightly small Banescale, though her wings were large. On her scales was a vibrant blue marbled pattern. Her massive wings were gray and white with a streaked, ragged marking, and had teal-colored feathers on parts of it.
As she saw her fellow Banescales take to the skies, she went with them, spreading her wings and leaving the lair that the new generation of Banescales had been dormant for so long in.
