______ While struggling to find his place among his four older brothers, Galar maintains the highest concentration of magic in his entire family, even his uncle Zola. Like his brothers before him, Galar inherited the mystical genes tapir & constellation, a duo that enhances the magic of dragons born without a code of stars. But his genes don’t fully control the magic he is capable of exerting, causing Galar to have spastic bursts of mystic energy.

______ These bursts render him nearly incapable of being around other dragons for extended periods of time, except for the parasite Mirzam. Galar worries that hanging around an astral parasite such as Mirzam could be more harmful than good, especially if Galar’s magic outbursts were used for other means. But in light of the situation, the majority of the magic energy benefits hatchlings and disabled dragons. Galar’s predicament mirrors the dragon Nyere, whose own body harbors ever-flowing currents of electricity. The two drakes are sparring partners and best friends. This friendship; however, will prove to be one of Galar’s most sacred keepsakes as he and his brothers navigate their newfound world with their gifts...
