Biography
The Exiles - many writings and rumours on how this group appeared float freely from mouths, books and scriptures and this is one of these stories. The Exiles came from one, one Coatl born grey and dull amoung his bright coloured siblings, he grew smaller than the rest shunned alone restless, the only colour he possessed were his ember eyes that gazed across the ash fields to the horizon he decided he would travel he would see beyond the colours. During his travels he met another eyes a deep blue like the midnight sky contrast to the dull grey of his plumage together they traveled and collected their group of exiles growing some were gifted with hints of pink and blues in their plumage but nothing glows brighter than there eyes full of pride and strength they may be exiles but they are not alone
Physical Attributes:
The Exiles have white-range (Maize-Silver) primary colours, with secondary colours from Maize-Shadow and tertiary colours ranging from Rose-Shadow. There are reports of Exiles with dull primaries from other colour ranges as well (such as beige, sky, and ivory), but these are yet to be confirmed. Most have their tertiary genes expressed in some form, and this generally increases the social standing of Exiles among others of their own kind. Dragons of other species with similar colouration who have sought them out have been known to be accepted as honorary Exiles, though this is rare, as not many dragons wish to be associated with a group of exiles.
Social:
The Exiles keep to themselves for the most part. This tendency towards quietness, produced by their condition as exiles, combined with their refusal to discuss anything relating to the Exiles with outsiders has lent them a mysterious aura, one that in truth they cultivate. In the minds of many dragons, the association between pale coatls and death lends them a mystical quality, which can be emphasised by their mysteriousness. Many clans come to view them as shamanesque figures, going to them for spiritual advice and seeing them as a link between the worlds of the living and the dead.
Lairs:
The Exiles have an odd relationship with other clans of dragons. While most dragons are uncomfortable with Exiles, they are also fascinated by them. Many believe it is good luck to have an Exile in the lair, and many also believe the converse – that turning away an Exile will bring a curse upon any clan that does so. Exiles rarely ask permission to join a clan or even formally introduce themselves, they simply show up one day and start working with the other members of the clan. They never explain why they have chosen to join that particular clan, and it would be considered rude to ask in any case.
The Exiles also have their own lair hidden in the depths of the mist of the Blacksand Annex, which serves as a central hub from which members are free to come and go as they please.
