Within the Alcoves’ hollow, twisting corridors are countless curious rooms. Perhaps the most curious is not known so for the room itself, but its contents. Slipped in near the surface halls the entrance to what was once a large den, now converted into a sort of ghastly emporium. Racks and counters line the pitted wooden floor, each piled with objects all manner of morbid, repulsive, and just plain useless.

Among the garbage are the occasional pieces of worth. Valuable scrap, tucked into the mouth of a half-rotten frogskin. A gleaming dagger, lost within a box of rusting cutlery. The scorched page of a spellbook, folded between the sheets of a waterlogged journal.

As Worrisome Wares’ sole guard, Moss often finds herself to be the only thing standing between this treasure trove of trash and the threat of potential thieves. Not that many dragons possess the skill to steal from the shop’s shelves, let alone the audacity to try- she cuts a formidable silhouette, even if she herself cannot see it. No, most of Moss’ nights are spent in uninterrupted, empty vigil over the storefront… but she isn’t one to complain. The quiet is peaceful, and occasionally, it offers something like meditation. Besides, the pay is good. When Mangrove pays her in currency, that is.
