Newt is a hatchling-sized fae plushie that is possessed by a dragon who died decades ago. He has forgotten everything about his past life aside from some fuzzy memories, the last few moments before his death and a nickname that seemed to have stuck permanently, he seeks to find the rest of his memories from when he was still alive.

He's quite pushy and can be a bit uptight. He can also be pretty prickly personality-wise too but he does have a small fondness for hatchlings and is generally much nicer to them.

Newt absolutely hates it whenever anybody calls him a toy or a plushie or a doll(or anything else that is also another word for a toy) and is quick to insist that he is not a toy, occasionally hitting or pricking them with a sewing needle he uses as a cane. Unfortunately, his appearance and his squeaky, childlike voice makes him extremely hard to take seriously and his protests are almost always either simply ignored or seen as a slight annoyance.
