◆ L A O Z I - Head Keeper of Knowledge ◆

The Firstborn:
The two oldest dragons who bare the sacred digits of 20 and 21. Noxus and Fray reside within an Ancient Arcane Lair. For eons the clan has quietly existed, far away in seclusion, preferring to keep to their own way of life. The children of the Firstborn carry ancient blood and old traditions but they were very few and far between until the clan decided to once more step forth, to open their doors and reveal their presence to a world that they had, for so long, forsaken. Now, each child of the Firstborn is given the opportunity to leave their ancient lair, to join others and share their old wisdom and traditions and to carry the name and teachings of the Firstborn. Laozi was one of the first.

Character details:
Personality: Quiet, thoughtful, talented, wise.
Likes: Reading, solitude, the stillness of night, kindness, quiet contemplation, the sound of running water. The cool and quiet archives of his birth-clan. Writing and archiving knowledge. Watching the sun set and rise with the passing of time.
Dislikes: Selfishness, arrogance, harsh sunlight, excessive noise, close mindedness, war, pointless fighting and death.

Laozi was the first born of his brood of three with a younger sister and brother born shortly after him. Second male ever to have been born from his esteemed parents, his birth-clan had very high expectations of him. Laozi however took things at his own pace. He was quick to learn and extraordinarily talented and naturally strong in the art of battle but Laozi saw only to use his strength for the greater good and thus rarely trained or participated in combat, much to his sisters unrelenting disappointment. Some called him a waste of talent but Laozi would smile at such narrow minded thoughts for his talents were many and he knew that strength did not come from conquering others, true strength came from conquering oneself. Laozi's brother seemed to accept his ways more then others and on the rare occasion Laozi would divulge some of his knowledge to him, where he thought it could bring improvement, peace or further understanding. Laozi's older sister Jax took keen interest in him, often following him around the archives within their home-clan, and they at times discussed theoretical ideas and philosophy but he found Jax to be a little detached from reality. He was however happy to provide her with someone to talk to, she was mostly avoided by others of the clan, not that she seemed to care.

Laozi came to learn early on that his brood would be presented an opportunity to leave the clan by piecing together ancient texts, history of his clan, whispers and the body language of the leaders of his clan when he carefully probed for information. He considered the opportunity to be a blessing, he would be able to learn so much more about the current age by leaving his clan and so he tasked himself to learn all he could about the old days, traditions, the wars and everything else his clan had stubbornly held on to since the beginning and the birth of his parents.

He would bare the name and crest of his clan and become a representative of his parents, the oldest dragons, the true ancients, the Firstborn... It was time...

Laozi is the direct child of the very first user-made dragons in-game.
