She's done horrible things, she truly understands that now, and she can't change that. She also can't change the fact that someone she cared about payed the price, she can only try to be better, and hope that's enough. She also knows it never will be

Originally being from a different dimension, and not having even been a dragon, initially makes Anya occasionally come off as eccentric or clumsy which belies how dangerous she can be. She works with intelligence as a spy within PROJECT, using her spinal implant/augmentation to download data, and her experience from her rather unsavory past to climb the corporate ladder. Although she would have been a very capable addition to innovation, she ultimately felt she'd be more useful as a spy. Also she didn't want to be near those maniacs
