B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Besaid Island

______ Growing up in an oppressive household, Antigua wanting nothing more than explicit, unadulterated freedom. But she would not receive it then, as her family was just as poor as it was oppressive, and turned out it's hatchlings to work and hunt as soon as they were capable. The day she exited childhood was the day she was pushed from the nest and her siblings, as she could now "take care of herself". However, that was a drastic overstatement, and faced with the sudden freedom she so desperately craved in her youth, she spiraled. She thieved and gambled eventually turned to a life of piracy.
______ The Sea of a Thousand Currents had never seen a pirate of her caliber. Storytellers, bards, and historians sang and illustrated her success, whispered tales of her glory, documented her transgressions. But it could not last forever, and the roving pirate found herself behind the Icewarden's bars, facing a lifetime of incarceration, her precious freedom gone as quickly as it came.
______ However she was offered a rare second chance; Join a nomadic clan and become an ambassador and rove again, albeit without the piracy and under the watchful eye of Solaris the judicator. Antigua understands now the importance of moderation and has mellowed out significantly after being released into the clan, though it's doubtful she'll ever lose her lust for life and glory. She now spends her time hunting, learning diplomacy from Solaris, taking self-care days with Anemo, and regaling the hatchlings with stories of her time on the seas.
