The Legend of the Swampdancers
There, deep in the Shrieking Wilds, lives a colony of Skydancers. When you look closer, something seems... off about them.
Their mouths hold teeth far sharper than any skydancer has the right to have. Do they eat meat? Are those sharp claws on their feet?
They have long, long green manes, much like a kelpie. The better to blend into their green surroundings. Some are said to have little trinkets tied up in the strands for ornamentation.
They have pale antlers, much like a pronghorn; all the better to fight with. The Wilds are a dangerous place, after all.
The swamp they inhabit is deep in the Wilds. Some say they guard a spring that grants the drinker long life, and that they drink from it themselves. Most dragons that try to find this pool are lost.
