There is a strange mingling of magic within the swamplands. The Viridian Labyrinth’s strong essence of life, twisted unnaturally in that way that comes so natural to the Tangled Wood. It leaves a bitter stain over the land, permeating all, from the depths of the bog to the low-hanging blanket of mist above it. Necromancy.

It lurks in the eyes of the monsters that glide through the marsh. It creeps with the colonies of fungus threatening to consume entire forests. It hides below the bog, among a century’s worth of perfectly preserved corpses. And, occasionally, it lends itself to those who would use it.

Oleander is one such individual, though his methods are somewhat… unconventional. Still getting the hold of his powers, he spends most of his time in the Alcoves’ clinic, where he attempts to teach himself through trial and error. No dragon can say he doesn’t get results- they just aren’t always good.
