Biography

You want to know MY backstory? Are you serious? Why would you want to know about something like me?
Well, then... very well. If you insist.
I was remember when I was first born. I was made by a scientist... an innocent looking girl... who squealed with joy when I opened my mechanical eyes and spoke: “How do you do? I am SUBMARINE... My purpose is to explore the depths while safely carrying passengers within me.”
“You WORK! They said it was impossible... that a robot as big as you wouldn’t work... but you DID!” My creator shouted with glee. “Now we just have to show you to the funders!”
I didn’t exactly know what she meant, but... I was... happy... for her. I’m not sure if feelings were already manifesting or not, but regardless, it was something that I would never, ever, forget.

Sooner or later, I heard the sound of the elevators coming to a halt, just before their doors slid open to reveal a trio of important looking dragons. They strutted in, looking not really at me, but at my creator.
“So... this... thing... what does it do?”
“Well... I created it so that she could explore the great depths of the ocean! She can hold many passengers... it took more than one dragon to build her! Your funding helped me immensely...”
“Hmph. Will it pay for what we paid you?”
“...hmm? Oh, I would definitely think so! I would find many treasures, specimens, and discoveries that would cost a solid penny with SUBMARINE! I could pay you back full!”
The trio looked at each other, before shaking their heads. Seeing my creator’s reaction, I couldn’t help but feel some sort of pity.
“You said that it was going to be revolutionary, sure, she does look the part... but for something so big, all she does is swim!” The very center one said.
“But, But... there is more to her than that! Lots more...”
“Give me a break. We will order this robot to be scrapped...”
“NO! No... please... please! Give me another chance!! Let me improve her!”
“...Very well. You still have some leftover funds. Improve her, and we will see if it’s worth our time.” The female on the left said, along with the others nodding.
“Thank you, thank you!!! I will be sure to! I... will install things that will make you LOVE her! I promise!” The fae shouted, looking about ready to cry.
The trio let out a deep sigh, before leaving to ride the elevator. When they were gone, she turned back to me, tears rimming her eyes.
“I’m sorry... it was the only way I could save you... you appeared in my dreams, asking to be built! I couldn’t let you turn to scrap!”
Dreams... that word stuck with me. It was deep as the abyssal oceans themselves.
Dreams.
Dreams.
Dreaming.
I was turned off, I don’t know how long.

Awoken. I was no longer asleep. I opened my eyes once again, but... I felt new. Different.
I spoke.
“How do you do? I am SUBMARINE... an ocean exploration robot that could fit multiple passengers within myself. I can also act as a weapon of war and conflict.”
Wait... war and conflict? This didn’t sound right. I was only made for ocean exploration and research... right?
“Okay! You should be done...” the Fae had a strange smile plastered across her face. She looked extremely overworked, and had scars riddling her fins and wings. Within her hands she fiddled what appeared to be some sort of transparent jar.
Her eyes spoke only of madness.
How long... was I asleep?

“My glorious creation... soon... we will please them! You’ll please everybody! They will BEG for me to become a head scientist of project... they will beg for you to be active ALL THE TIME!” She murmured. “And if not... I have a backup plan...” as she said that, I noticed that her claws began to wring around the object she was holding even more so. I had a bad feeling about this.
Sooner or later, the trio from earlier arrived. They had questioning glances stretched across their faces, still not seeming to look impressed.
“And... how did you improve her...?”
“Oh, oh! I upgraded her capabilities, added LOTS OF WEAPONRY, so that way she can be useful in war too!! Aren’t I a genius! AREN’T I?!”
She clutched the jar aggressively in her claws, glaring at them. I hadn’t seen such hatred come from my master before. It was... awfully strange.
“...I see.” The funders said. They coughed, one of them twirling their whiskers around one of the talons.
“And... what do you hope to achieve from this?”
“RECOGNITION. PEOPLE CALL ME STRANGE, OUT OF THE LOOP. DON’T YOU KNOW HOW THAT FEELS LIKE?!”
“...”
There was silence. From their expressions, I could tell that this wasn’t going to end well.
“...destroy the creation.” The center one said.
“WHAT DID YOU SAY??”
“Destroy. The. Creation. That’s an order, you mad, little, frick.” They growled at her.
“NO! NEVER!!”
She suddenly slammed the jar she was holding right onto my body. I didn’t flinch, it didn’t hurt. I am a robot, after all.
“I DIDN’T WANT TO DO THIS...! BUT I SHALL MAKE YOU PAY! PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME! MY SISTER!”
Sister...? My creator had a sister...?
Then after, I began to shake. My normal, frozen stance was broken. My metallic body had begun to melt around the area where she had smashed the jar, making the trio back away with both fear and disgust.
“You... you MADDRAGON... why would you DO THAT?” The right one asked.
“Because... I HATE YOU! I WANT TO SEE YOU SENT TO THE VERY EDGE OF HELL!”
I began to pant and growl, clawing at the floor as the infectious ooze began to spread across my entire body. I wasn’t just a robotic creation anymore. Whatever she had done to that spore, it made the effects accelerate at a rapid rate.
I don’t know much what happened after that, but I just know that I looked at the trio hungrily, before hearing, “After you destroy them, I shall become one with you. We shall dominate everything... together.”

When I had awoken, I was now by some sort of river, and my head was... ringing. I felt larger than I was even before hand, and...
You fool, what are you doing?! You should be going to FL/GHT! They will help us show project that they messed with the wrong... us. You. Me.”
I jolted up. “My creator...?”
Don’t call me that. We are one now. We are perfect.
I shook, but nodded.
now, off to FL/GHT. We have some work to do...
