Auralion worked silently on Aurum’s wounds. Clicking his tongue, Auralion grabbed bandages from one of the drawers.

“You should be a tad more careful when training. Too much deeper, and you could have lost your leg.”

Aurum chuckled. “It’s fine. I’m not worried.”

Auralion sighed, keeping quiet on the matter. His paws worked quickly, moving from one material to the next. He grabbed a needle and thread, biting off a small section to stitch the wound. Auralion grabbed a salve from a jar, applying it to the injury. Aurum didn’t even flinch, but Auralion knew it must have hurt. He’d had dragons howl in pain before. But it would help them heal. Auralion pulled back when he finsihed stitching up the wound and wrapping the bandage around it. It was beautiful work, done by the best in the clan.

Auralion smiled. “Now, you’ll want to take it easy for a few days so it can heal. I’m good, but if you end up tearing it off I can’t fix that.”

He smiled. Auralion began to put his tools back, cleaning them as he went. Aurum cleared his throat.

“Thanks. I appreciate it. I’ll, uh… I’ll take it easy for a while.”

Auralion nodded. “Thank you. And if it keeps bothering you, feel free to return any time. My door is always open.”
