Her bright eyes gaze upon the warm yellow and purple valley. Glowing brightly like the sun, yet her scales are as dark as night.
Anxiota, a homely guardian, was the first to reclaim this land after being granted permission from the one she saw as a mentor, a mother. Once given the chance, she channeled the element of light to make the earth bloom in golden colors of grass and tree. With the aide of a force that is kept hidden from her, life was restored ever so peacefully, but she knew it wasn't always going to be this easy.

From the moment she hatched, life was nothing but a challenge. The ones who found her egg, slain by a haunting storm, abandoning her as she was the only one who could fly. Her arrival to the valley was met with a night of chaos, huddling under her own straw nest to stay safe.. and yet she stands; her children ripped from her claws and her first lover being stolen and presumably slain.
Life would be a challenge, but she would face it head-on, even making a new love along the way. Though with her heart taken by another, jealousy grew within the unnatural forces, and soon she was attacked as well.

But like the strong oaks that grew on the valley's deepest level, she stood strong, fighting all odds and surviving. She was, and always will be, a survivor. She survived the cruelest of storms, the harshest of upbringings under the nightly threat, and the heartbreak that could tear any dragon in two. She stands tall.

No dragon could tear her down, break her spirit.

No behemoth could permeate her flesh with lies.

She is the embodiment of determination, and nothing will stop her.

No matter what the fiends throw at her.
