"Meemaw, Meemaw, what's my name? Tell me, tell me, play the game!"

<A name little one, is that what you ask? You are my Chosen, with a special task... Guide these dragons to glorious lives! Live with them and help them thrive...>

"Meemaw, Meemaw, sleep good now! I will play with them right now!"

The room goes silent, and a small Shadowbinder doll fades to dark. Prancing around it is a young, somewhat sludgy Coatl who temporarily stops bouncing to tuck it into a little nest. He gives it a quick lick on the face and then bounds away towards his dad's room, a soft Skycat waking to follow- though not before a good stretch.

"Are you certain, Echo?"

A dark-feathered Skydancer nods her kind gaze, winking an answer, as two adult Coatls stand before her. One of the serpentine dragons is holding a newborn hatchling, though right now it appears little more than a pile of thick goo, dripping and oozing onto the floor. As the sludge hits the ground, it fizzles and disappears silently. The handful of gunk yawns- a few shards of white among an ocean of inky darkness.

Soon he blinks open his eyes, hollow aside from a faint bright glow and yet more glop pouring out from them. He rolls over his mother's arm and splats upon the ground, seemingly unfazed. Then he yawns again, and sneezes.

"Our little Chosen... I was so worried, but this is so much better than I could have ever dreamed of. Come along little one, it's time for bed."

With that, the little slime ball clings to his mothers tail as they return to their room.
