Some liken her casting to weaving, drawing out threads between dextrous fingers, letting them pull away and cross in turns. An enchanting sight, even if the threads are invisible - invisible to anyone but her, that is. Only she sees the shimmering colors she spools out from the very core of a person, and how they weave with another’s. Do they fall smoothly together, mingling as if they’re one and the same? Do they tangle, snarling and pulling no matter how she tries to entwine them? Or is it something in between, as most are - meshing here, twisting there, only as strong as the effort put in to align them?

She used to offer her advice freely, eager to help, but Oratt learned quickly how little such counsel was appreciated. Few enjoy having the weak threads in their relationships remarked upon, even in hope of helping. Now she waits for them to come to her. Some still react poorly - but then, at least, the fault lies wholly with them, and the times she does manage to unsnarl the fraying threads of a relationship make up for it.
