 KOSCHEI URUSOV 'THE PROGENITOR KING' FOUNDER OF THE THANATOS SYNDICATE SPYMASTER DESCENDANT OF THE DEMI-GOD ZIMA «- - - - - - - - - - - - - ❖ - - - - - - - - - - - - -» Decades ago a boy living in a graveyard had a dream. He dreamed of getting out, of being so powerful that no one would ever threaten him for he would always have influence to wield. He would never go hungry again and neither would anyone else he loved for that matter. He would get away from this nightmarish eternal blizzard, this family curse passed down from no fault of his own. And so he ran, taking his younger brother with him as the two of them disappeared into the night. Koschei Urusov, shockingly enough, is mostly self taught. It's hard to picture him as anything but who he is now: the suave older gentleman who created the Thanatos Syndicate, bejewelled fingers around the hilt of a sword and eternal smirk on his face. Of course, he was once presumptuous and arrogant without much reason: he had a dream and he was going to make it happen come hell or high water. It was this attitude that drew others to him though, the five founding members of the Syndicate: Koschei and Mischa Urusov, Nakahi and Mokomoko Awhatopana, and finally the man who drew them together in the first place, the blood mage known as Nightshade. Whilst Koschei led the Syndicate, he was being manipulated by Nightshade for a great deal of it. The man he thought to be his dearest friend lay in wait for the day he would take over; in the meantime, Koschei formulated an organisation which would span nations, held to no gods or masters. They would primarily deal with mercenaries, vetting contracts and taking a cut whilst the mercs themselves live within the Syndicate's home base. They would recruit spies and diplomats too, spreading influence like the strands of a spider's web. He was at the top of the world, rich and powerful with dangerous people at his beck and call. At least, until Nightshade finally pulled his coup. It left the Syndicate with a deep wound, and Koschei with an even deeper one. Furious and ashamed, he handed the reins of the Syndicate to his eldest son and took a step back. That was years ago now and Koschei has since mellowed out from the young rockstar of the criminal circuit to the fatherly man with an absolute abundance of knowledge and thought. At his heart he's a hardened man who can and has destroyed countless lives in order to gain money power and fame, but he's very in touch with emotions and loves deeply. He has expensive taste, demands respect where he goes, yet he will always kneel down in the mud to talk to children. His charm oozes from every pore, he knows someone everywhere at all times. Tall dark and handsome, Koschei continues to guide the Syndicate and everyone within it to the best of his ability, cultivating the dream he had back when he was a lonely boy looking out the window at a howling blizzard.
