Sneaking along the beaten path are nocturnal wyrms, known as the Brushcrawlers. These dragons originate from ancient woodland forests dotting the edges of Dragonhome. They live among trees, thicket, brambles and small lakes. They've long evolved tough, thorny scales in order to live in such prickly shrubbery, and for a sturdy form of defense. They are excellent at camouflage, and you'd have to do a double-take to spot them. Most live in solitude, and take care of their own for survival. While they try only to stay out of your way, they are known to lash out if threatened. Be wary of your encounter with Brushcrawlers, as they rely on old instincts and animalistic behaviors.
