Vexilla
•The War Banner•
Her tribe was war-like, which is unusual for pearlcatchers. She was raised hearing that honour is the highest priority a Dragon should have.
When Vexilla was born, she was celebrated as a special blessing from the tribe’s ancestors. Her facial markings were a very rare genetic mutation, which looked like war paint. Combining this with her brilliant colours, her fate had been decided as the War Banner for her tribe.
A War Banner is a dragon who has learned not only combat and strategy for the battlefield, but also a fiery dance traditional to their culture. The markings Vexilla has are not necessary for a War Banner, but hers especially inspired her tribe.
