Being blind is perhaps the worst fate to befall a Fae. Without being able to see, it's nearly impossible for them to communicate with their own kind. Unfortunately, Acorn was born without sight. The smallest of his clutch, he was rejected almost immediately. Some tried magic to fix his eyes, but it was no use; he would never see.

So he was forced to leave the Starwood Strand, alone and weak. He wouldn't have made it if Nomad hadn't come across him in her travels. She took pity on him and brought him back to the Soncha Kapa clan, where she nursed him back to health and gave him a second chance. Acorn has found his place in Soncha Kapa, where he can be a happy Fae despite his blindness. His best friend is an orange tabby who lost one of its own eyes in a fight. The two are inseparable.
