STRIBOG
clan patriarch | progenitor
Named for the Slavic god of the wind, cold, ice and frost.

Quiet and unassuming, the patriarch of the clan. He is content to let Mere lead the way, as he walks along behind her. He defends and heals while Mere attacks, the tag team once feared in the battlegrounds now left for their partial retirement. Stribog doesn't mind the quiet of the Reef, nor did he mind the chill of the air in the Strand. Wherever his mate takes him, he will follow.

Much like Mere, many of the others in the clan have asked him when he intends to "join the others" and try out some of the newer genechanges made available for anyone who could buy them. But when asked, he just shakes his head, nave moving gently with the motion.

Several of the ladies flitting in and out of the clan have come to him, inquiring about his colors, his genes, how long it must have been since he nested and did he need someone to come with...?

"Not necessary."

The subdued mage, the silent strength, the solid reminder that what was here was not going anywhere, no matter the troubles or the pain. When the twins shed their blood for the Tidelord and had their bodies carried to sea, he wept with their parents. When new hatchlings were born, he kept them warm if the others had gone out to fight, ever willing to put one wing over the small ones and hum soft lullabies until they slept.

And much like his mate, he remembers all too well the fate of lost children, and ones who will not know what name to answer to when the gods call.

Most recently, Stribog has found himself being the focal point for many of the odd and rare colored dragons who find their way to Olympuswatch. With his last scatterscroll treatment, he became one of only a few dragons to still be wandering Sornieth with that particular combination. Perhaps then it is fitting that the dragons who have found themselves here either for their colors or for other melancholy reasons, find themselves on most nights sitting with the older tundra, talking about whatever comes to their minds.

Astarot calls it a therapy class.

Stribog ignores him.
