═══════════════════════════════════════════ Rdraz'zac [Na - d͡ʑa] ; Life is beautiful in its cruelty; Death is foreboding in its tranquility. Learn from them. ═══════════════════════════════════════════ A mysterious entity which has taken the form of a regal Gaoler to better suit her needs. She resides in the PlagueLands, seldom leaving her Cult due to being the sole reason they exist and function like a well oiled machine. Njada is seductive, enigmatic and incredibly dark, however she shows kindness to those worthy of it, and her Cult, her Acolytes, are valuable pieces in the game of life and death. She will help those in need, but her moral compass is a complete mystery... Njada's dragon stature isn't the highest perhaps, as the form she chose to take (Gaoler) isn't of the largest breeds in Sornieth. However, with her imposing set of gnarled horns and antlers, decorated in gold and candles, she certainly strikes a larger figure than one may assume. This, coupled with her unusually large wings (much larger than a normal Gaoler's) and her sleek, boa-like tail give Njada an imposing air, as if she were hiding much more than she allows to be seen. The candles which adorn her frame can be lit and extinguished without an external source of fire to ignite the wick- it happens of Njada's own accord- similar to most all other candles inside the Cult walls. Regarding her tail once more, Njada's always trails behind her as if suspended in water, never dragging on the ground but never lifted to the extent that a cat's may do. A large golden eye is painted (or, people assume it is painted) onto the end portion of the tail, and a few thick circlets of gold-like metal adorn the length of it. It is not seen by the common eye, and even the Acolytes have seldom witnessed it, but Njada's tail ends in a maw; a huge set of jaws which can bend and split like a snake's to devour whatever it may set it "sights" upon, coupled with seemingly endless rows of backwards hooked serrated teeth, the same color and feel as her gnarlhorns and claws, and a saliva who's chemical composition is, for lack of a better word, "out of this world". | x |
The Pact
Myths surrounding Njada and Vis' alliance are many, but none more popular than the theory of Njada having taken care of the white mirror when she had been a hatchling, fascinated by her odd birth conditions. Whatever the truth may be, Clan Ysbraviar and the Cult of Mor share a deep rooted connection and alliance; not to mention, plague borders arcane, and since then, the Clan has moved towards the Icebound territories right beneath. Njada has made a special portal for Ysbraviar to visit her whenever the need arises, in fact... |
The Grudge
How the Lightweaver can forsake her own children and replace them so heartlessly is unforgivable in Njada's eyes; the way in which the Light deity even DARES call herself a Mother offends the gaoler to no end. Likewise, both light and plague deities seem to despise those whom have won against Death, calling them abominations and accursed... Yet, Njada takes them all in as her own blood; She will not forgive those two "mothers" for abandoning their children. |
