Biography
History:
With Aralt, Luyten initially settled in a dusty, dry canyon on the border of the Viridian Labyrinth and Dragonhome. There they stayed together for a little while, establishing a garden. It was hard work, and seeing the withered, sad plants, Luyten believed that if he earned his deity's favour, he could bring her blessing upon the land, and help it flourish. Soon, he left for the Gladekeeper's domain. He would serve her faithfully within her lands, learning all he could, and she did indeed bless his old home, helping it flourish. However, no thanks were ever received from the clan, nor any contributions of warriors or supplies. As much as Luyten every day told the Gladekeeper how grateful he was for her help, he alone could not speak for the dragons back home, and so she bid he return, as an exalted and glorified dragon, back to his clan, and teach them humility.
Personality:
Luyten is a gentle giant, humble and kind. Caring for even the smallest of things, he takes care in every task he performs, so as not to crush even the tiniest of seedlings, nor the most fragile of hatchlings. He is calm, even in conflict. Where others would squabble and fight, he would prefer to talk with reason.
Duties:
Upon returning from the Gladekeeper's domain, Luyten has taken over managing the valley, re-establishing the Gladekeeper's connection with the clan, and bringing in a new era of peace.
Mate:
Luyten's mate and charge is Aralt, which has brought upon him much grief. It pains him to know that the Gladekeeper is extremely displeased with her, and ever since Luyten cursed her into a Kamaitachi and chased her away, not a day goes by that he does not worry and cry for her, hoping that one day she would return, having learned her mistake. He regrets the decision, wishing instead that he just kept her within his reach, until she learned to keep a civil tongue in her head.
Hot dang, Luyten, you make a dang fine Veilspun.
Actually, your colours are just good.
For fun, I am digging through their descendants. (Left off on Ladora, done looking at Patch's bloodline.)
