The littlest of Chimera's enforcers, Janus is a can-do kind of guy who's ready at any time to serve. From a young age, he was always skilled in magic, dangerously so. His powers were well under control, but those around him could tell he wasn't the normal variety of magically competent. Eventually he found himself the prize of many dragons who employed him for his talents and said dragons were never "good" company. Becoming well known as a rather unsympathetic yes-man, Janus employs a variety of cryomancy to convince others of his current master's wishes. During one of his contracts, he was surprisingly freed only to find his new benefactor being Chimera, who of course inquired about his skills. Though he was skeptical of her motives, she offered to rectify an old debt of his. Not without suspicion or reluctance, he agreed to pay her back in labor despite him being a completely free dragon. Many do question why he continues to remain in her employment and it is a subject he vehemently refuses to answer. Though cold and disingenuous, Janus has since grown fond of his new home, giving dragons second chances, a concept once very foreign to him. He's known as charismatic by those who've never known debt and quite the pest by those that do. Many of the resident magicians share a spiteful sentiment towards the little prodigy. |
