Biography
Kello is the longstanding leader of the clan. As a young dragon hatched in an ancient tribe native to the Southern Icefield, he was lost in a snowstorm, rescued by his breeding partner and co-founder of the clan, Thalassa. At some point the clan migrated from their cold territory in the Southern Icefield to the humid rain forest of the Viridian Labyrinth. With the tundra as leader the clan has stayed fairly small, though their territory extends quite a bit into the surrounding jungle. The group of dragons have dubbed themselves Clan Moss, their main trade being to send saplings from their orchard to clans throughout Sornieth.
The clan's position as a nature clan with ice origins has lead to a fear of fire dragons, rivalry with plaguelings (though the clan has cared for orphaned plaguelings), and a slight wariness of water dragons.
Kello himself prefers peace, negotiations, and relying on instinct to training his clan mates for battle. He can most often be found either surveying the orchards or working in them, his large rack of antlers gleaming in the sunlight. The tundra was once bitten by an onyx cobra while studying the local fauna, which has led to the purple gems clumped against his fur and wings. While they are numerous, it has always been easier for him to climb around the jungle than fly, so he pays little attention to them.
The clan leader's den is a hut built among the enormous roots of one of the trees in the territory, surrounded by various apples, bananas, plantains, and strawberries. Within and surrounding the hut a spell has been placed to offer what feels like the perfect temperature to any living beings within. Thus, Kello can stay inside if he wishes to not shave his pelt as often. The tundra has a small collection of the tusks of felled beasts and white fabric, the symbol of kindness.
