It was when the flightless valley first started establishing a population when The Pack decided to make themselves known.

A shiny coated green skydancer reported to Petronas after a patrol. “We keep finding evidence of activity just outside of our routes.”

“Have you laid eyes on another dragon?” Petronas’s hushed tone lacked the urgency that the skydancer’s had.

“No, just scent, tracks, and hunting evidence.”

Petronas swished his tail in thought. “They want us to know they exist and may be testing if we are hostile.
