This somewhat-ancient spirit is a kindly one- they welcome visitors to their dwelling but is scarcely seen himself. Often depicted as a silvery spirit, Nectan embodies the very essence of the sanctuary and takes on a form different to how they have been imagined to appear.
Unbeknowst to most, to catch a glimpse of Saint Nectan is to catch a bundle of blessings. The few mortals who have laid eyes on their most gorgeous mane have found themselves caught up in weddings to their most sought-after lovers, in dances among their finest friends, and savouring peaceful nights that remind them of what it means to be alive.
