IU4MWGs.png Born blind with primal eyes, Vrie uses a combination of olfactory memory and braille to identify and organise his books. Woe betide the hatchling who takes advantage of his blindness; Vrie has excellent hearing, and any threat to the library is quickly and sternly dealt with.
The crowded lair of the Murkbarrow Close leaves little room for a grand library, but if Vrie ever let that deter him, he never let on. Centuries of illiteracy meant that there was never a collection for the Dusk Clan to downsize in the first place, and Vrie found that four haphazard bookshelves were a good enough place to start.

The library is tucked away in the corner of the bustling attic, squeezed between two dry mud walls and the guard nests. Two out of the four bookcases are dug unevenly out of the wall, their shelves taken up by a scattered and sparse collection of dusty tomes. Much to Vrie's chagrin, both fae and spiders alike have built their nests in the spaces between the books. In a cosy slot between the shelves, a pile of cushions, a colourful rug, and a bucket of primal ooze mark a home for the sleeping librarian.
