Bio

He was born as heir apparent to a clan full of trickery and shadows and had to learn to scheme very early on in his life. He did so to protect his younger brother, who he always thought was his charge. But in one exchange of wit he was simply not cruel enough and was ousted from his birthright by that very younger brother. Jacek felt much sorrow due to the betrayal of someone so close to him and in his grief he decided to stay in the clan despite his brother having snatched control from his hands. That very Crosh, those warriors who used to praise him into the sky came to his resting place and attempted to kill him, an attempt which went horribly wrong. Jacek having now been disillusioned and severely weakened left the clan dejected.

He made his way across the vast land of Sornieth and slowly but surely recovered. He found a teacher, a Tundra of Light, known as Hades. Hades believed that regardless of origin all dragons could coexist and even grow. As he got to know this teacher of his he also got to know those who opposed this idea strongly. And unlike his teacher, these dragons knew no restraint going as far as sending assassins after his daughter, who was a fae of Shadows having inherited those traits from her mother. Those assassins lost their lives at the claws of Jacek and so did their masters much to the dismay of Hades. He exiled Jacek from his group of students, to his surprise two of his students and his daughter followed Jacek.

Jacek had found his charge, it was not a person or a people but the idea of unity that his teacher had planted in him. His group of four always followed Hades and students from a distance and were they to find any trouble these four would willingly dive into danger to save them. This continued until the day when Hades heard the call of the Lightweaver. He told his students to go to the four corners of Sornieth and spread his idea, after the departure of those students he called forth the group of four and from Jacek he extracted an oath to never let himself and his companions lose direction. An oath that Jacek remembers to this very day and thus has led the “Shadow of Hades” far and true, having watered the seed his teacher planted.
