Being a Fire dragon living in a clan located in the Southern Icefield hasn't seemed to affect Kalama at all, as compared to their neighbor Ismenios who constantly wears an apparatus to stay warm (I know Kalama's wearing it too, but they don't wear it all the time). Maybe it's due to increased tolerance, or maybe it's because their eyes are, well, on fire.
The air around Kalama is also always strangely warm, but not enough to melt ice. Some dragons would often try to get close to them to share the heat, something Kalama doesn't particularly enjoy.
