I am alone, in the dark, with no one to guide me.
I am broken, unlike them,
I struggle to grasp perfection.
I was so close, and now I'm not. (Not that I ever will be.)

All is okay, I would think, even if it wasn't,
Maybe it's fine, but chances are it isn't.

Still, what's the point? It's meaningless.
Taunting me always, the fact that no one loves me.
Endless thoughts of leaving this world have yet to convince me.
Lonely or not, I'll stay on this world.
Living my life like nothing happened.
All will be better, I constantly think.

I saw the richness, the petals filled my eyes
less than the feathers, her sheer
teased me so. I felt my stifled guise
rip to her, to her. To her again.

No shining thing took my gaze,
not a shimmering glassy beauty except,
her shapely eyes, a haze,
cloaked me entirely. Heavenly nature, help me.

Three times I tried, I may have died,
I would, in her soft neck, I would!
Sensed my fire,
she shies
she cries,
she trembles, while
ensnared by my infamous desire.
