Biography
Horizon had lived with the Galelurkers for many years before he managed to find his way here. The Fae had braved devastating winds, nearly getting crushed multiple times. The few items he used to weigh himself down to the ground, to avoid being flung around by the harshness of nature. Flying was a death sentence, especially for a Fae dragon like him. Not like he was ever good at it, with the limited space and it just being far too dangerous to take flight anywhere outside. Everyone's wings weren't in the best shape.
After a long time, Horizon reached the end of the Windswept Plateau. Just about touching the territorial border between here and the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He jumped down the ledge, and never looked back.
Horizon eventually happened upon The Viridian Labyrinth, which in his opinion was far greener than anything he's ever seen. He met a clan of dragons who were more than happy to see another dragon around, especially one who has traveled such distances. They were more than happy to hear his tales of how his previous clan couldn't fly and hatchlings who were forced to face the dangers of the storms due to their lack of space. A fellow Fae dragon had seemed particularly interested in his old home's dynamics.
Soon enough, he was accepted by a new family, most of whom were Fae dragons which he liked a lot. Seeing your own brought a sense of comfort. One of the first things he learned there was how to fly properly again. Upon hearing the news of his poor ability to fly, a Fire dragon named Rouge jumped immediately to offer him lessons on flying. It was a hard process getting into the hang of things. Several comments were made the first few days about Horizon's sudden attachment to his leaf hut. He claimed that he was still a little scared of the winds, never needing to leave unless absolutely necessary. But never him, because he'd be a goner in seconds. So he'd always be underground, never close enough to taste the sun. And after that day he was introduced to sunbathing.
Horizon knew that his old clan adopted him into their family when he was just a hatchling. But he's made a new one here. He could actually see the insects around him! Wasn't that just amazing?! A new home, new friends, new family, all he carved out for himself when he left the Galelurkers.
The journey was strenuous, but he made it. He really made it.
