Biography

Lapis was just a hatchling when the Tidelord vanished after an ominous prophecy. Her nest swore that he would return soon...but he never did.

Lapis dedicated her life to serving the water flight. Having grown into a mighty warrior, she swore to find the missing leader of her flight. She has searched for him across all of Sornieth's realms.

While in the Viridian Labyrinth Lapis met a Snapper of the light flight. Lightbringer's prowess in battle and desire to help others wooed her. He was equally impressed by her dedication to her quest.

Now the mated pair traverse the realms together, protecting others...and always in search of the Tidelord.

Who has seen me come undone
And then seen beyond

Abandoned, alone, frightened.
The words ran through her mind.
They spoke in sullen whispers,
Of the deity of the tide.
They thought she would not notice,
Young and naive as she was,
The pain that slashed their hearts in half,
And broke their hard earned trust.

As she grew and time passed,
The memories stayed on,
The whispered rages to the Tidelord,
To the one who let them down.
But much as she tried to feel fury,
Like her mother, her father, her sister,
Lapis knew only the wishfulness,
The longing for life to be right.

Time passed and she grew still,
Until she left her home,
To search the silent oceans,
And the bustling continent.
She told herself over and over again,
That she would not give up,
Until she found her deity,
And restored him to his empty throne.

Years passed, she changed,
But her quest remained the same,
Though her head screamed,
To left her dreams drift away.
She met her love,
She travelled the world,
She almost found but lost him again,
She never found the Tidelord.

Not yet.
But she still searches.
