Alexandria

Name Meaning: "defender of man"; "defender of people"
(OOC: She has Tangerine as her Secondary, and I have a dove IRL that's a Tangerine mutation. I was like, "Hey, let me name her after my dove!" UNRELATED, I was planning on making her a guard of some sort before even looking up the meaning of the name??? I knew "andros" meant "man/mankind", but not where the first half of the name came from. I'd named her BEFORE looking it up.)

As a hatchling, Alexandria would follow Prima around silently, getting nervous whenever someone would try talking to her. The only exceptions would be whenever there was talk about sports or games.

Now that she's gotten older, she's become a little more comfortable with most of the clan, though avoids socializing with outsiders.

She eventually took to working as a guard for the clan, her strength and endurance making her into a perfect fit for the job. On top of that, Oceanus built her a "partial exo suit" from loot brought back from the coliseum; it helps her a lot with jumps and strength, so she uses it whenever she's on duty.

Later, when she went to hibernate in den, she removed the exo suit. During her hibernation, something began to take room in her blooms... A strange fungal infection.

Background:
Her earliest vivid memory is of the smells of salty air, cries of gulls, and the warmth of the sun. Her parents and her two sisters are... fuzzy in her mind, but still there.

Her other more vivid memory from her childhood was Tiant and Starfall talking with her family and... perhaps someone else? Her parents told her she was going to be apart of a new family that would love and care for her. She could help this clan in ways she couldn't for the one she was born in, after all.

Then Tiant and Starfall brought her away to their home further inland.

The most this new clan had of water was the clear stream that ran through the territory. Still, the babbling brook had it's own serenity.

Not long after arriving, she spotted some of the young dragons playing games together. She eagerly scurried over to watch them play, then ask questions when they took a break. Prima indulged her, realizing that this was the most the little hatchling had spoken since being introduced to the clan.

After that game, Prima helped Alexandria organize some games with some of the hatchlings close in age and size with the young Gaoler. After that, when she wasn't playing, Alexandria took to following Prima around.

As she grew older, and into a young adult, she became a little more independent of Prima, practicing and exercising on her own more when not playing. She also began talking with Mr. Slick more often after seeing him practicing melee moves and asking for pointers.

This place... this clan... she'd begun to feel like she's close to finding her place in it.
