Noxious

Say hello to Noxious, who joined the clan on July 11th, the same day he hatched, who is the second Gaoler to come from an outside source, but who's here to stay! Noxious is also the clan's Aesthetician, which is a Role he shares with a Pearlcatcher named LionVale!:D

For those that might find his name hard to pronounce, he also goes by Nox or Noxie :) Despite his name, there's nothing noxious about this dragon, except maybe his brightly colored hide that could be described as giving headaches because of the noxious hues.. Otherwise, this dragon enjoys company & doesn't mind being around others :D

Noxious is a bright, happy dragon that matches his vibrant colors with a colorful personality :D He was shy at first, but as he grew up, he developed himself and found his own personality that begun to shine through. He flourished in the school and made many friends after he shed his shy shell. While he studied there, he found that he had a love for cosmetology and as he grew, he studied all that he could about it and delved into the subject. As he studied, he found he had a talent for being a beautician and working with dragons & helping them to shine & show their true inner selves through their wardrobe. On his journey, he met LionVale, who had a similar talent, and they began to work together helping those in the clan who sought to express themselves with their apparel or other ways to beautify themselves ^^)

Despite popular belief and the reputation that male Aestheticians have garnered throughout the world, Noxious and LionVale are not LGBQT+ oriented and both are happily wed to beautiful wives. Likewise, they don't let their talents interfere with their love lives & live very moral lives, and only offer the best advice for the dragons they help out out of the goodness of their hearts and stay to the straight & narrow and turn to their partners when they need the help of a loving hand. Noxious enjoys working with LionVale and has a very good friendship with him, but that is as far as their relationship goes and they keep it strictly professional and friend-based otherwise.
(no offense to that community, I mean no disrespect, this is just how my dragons prefer to live their lives ^^) you do you, please don't hate meee)

Noxious also still has a bit of a reserved side to himself, and he thinks it might be some leftovers of his shyness that still linger, so when he's had a full busy day of being his bright jovial self, he likes to take time to relax. So when he's not working at the beauty shop, Noxious can often be found taking walks along the Windswept Plateau with his wife and sharing conversations about the day and things going on in their lives. He has found he also enjoys history, and when he's not on a wind-soaked walk, he can be found in the library or studying in Erigore's and attending a history class to learn more about the realm about him :) If he's not on a walk or studying, and still feels bubbly enough for a conversation, Noxious can also be found in the communal gathering places in the clan, talking up a storm with his friends or the others that reside here, enjoying the company of the dragons he sees, but off-the-clock. :)

When he arrived, he was still a hatchling and a little bab, so he was scared and shy at first, but as he was welcomed in, he found his place & a family to call his own :) Meiriona, the one in charge of the Nursery, helped to watch & raise him at first when he arrived in the Nursery, but since Aramona was an actual Gaoler, she stepped in to help raise the Gaoler further, and from there, he became like another son to her. Since he came so young, he doesn't quite remember his former family but he has some memories of being surrounded by other brightly colored dragons, so he knows he had some siblings and a family..
As he grew up in the SkyWings clan, and surrounded by those of his kind, he let his personality grow & flourish and now he is quite a jovial dragon :) He grew up with Aramona's kids that hatched recently around the same time he joined the clan and they became a tight group and did everything together, and they all became a family, as close as siblings. When he grew up and matured from child to teenager then into adult, he felt that one of Arramona's daughters had caught his eye and he had feelings start to develop.. Unfortunately the one that he had likened to didn't feel the same and didn't feel quite right with it so she turned him down and went for someone else in the clan that she fancied. This hurt him a bit, but he felt that he had a friend with another one of the daughters and could confide in her, and she was there to help him & supported him through his recovery.. and through their interactions, they became closer than siblings and she revealed she had feelings for him, and Nox was surprised at first, but didn't want to hurt her at all or damage their current relationship so he was willing to see where it would go. Though it seemed weird at first because of the dynamic of the family, it was allowed since he wasn't blood related. So, with that, they went deeper, had a romantic relationship blossom that lead to a special ceremony with wedding bells and cake and all the dragons of the clan that wanted attended the union :)
Now he lives in the lair with Ranja, his wife, the family that welcomed him in and all of the other dragons that reside here and lives a happy life with his loved ones. Hopefully one day he & his wife would welcome in some children of their own, but he is also content to stay with things the way they are & loves spending time with Ranja :)

He has an Aer Phantom Familiar that has begun to follow him around and latch on to this Gaoler. After a time of realizing that he couldn't make the being go away, he became used to the company of the entity and now welcomes the being as it follows him around :) At first, Alexis was paired with another dragon, but when Nox joined the clan, the Familiar was drawn to the Gaoler for reasons only it knows and started hovering nearby this dragon. He wasn't sure what to think at first, and sought help from DuskFall, the clan's Keeper of Familiars, who told him that sometimes you just have to go with the flow and accept the things that Familiars do. Since Nox didn't want to be mean to the entity and shove it away, he welcomed Alexis in and now it's a common sight to see him trailed by the green ethereal being. :)

As stated above, Noxious is a Beautician in the clan! He has an eye for fashion and making things work with dragon's hair and make-up when they want it, and his skills are well-renowned in the clan! He really works to bring out the inner beauty of others by using his talents in their apparel or other beauty-enhancing products to wow the world with the wonder of the dragon. He & LionVale use this talent together and love to work together and he enjoys helping others express their personality, and even offer tips when they can tell the other's choice will turn the dragon's wardrobe into a nightmare.. :D
