Biography

plaguetop.png
True to his Plague nature, BEER carries signs of contagion on his own hide: the dented iron plates covering his broken scales, the scars on his face that he conceals with a mask as a courtesy to others.

He doesn't see them as a weakness himself⸺more of a sign of his prowess and resilience, a testament to how he survived and persisted despite the fate's attempts to take him down.

Beer is a fearsome being. Vicious beyond what was logically possible, he never shrinks from a fight. He is vain, however, and whenever someone dares leave a scar on him, he slaughters them without reserve.
So when a child pointed at his nose one day, asking their parent what had happened to it, anger and shame flared up in Beer his chest. He roared as he pounced, caging the child between his two front legs and sending their parent tumbling away. What was that? He growled in their face and they wailed. It was a good sound, as good as a groveling apology for daring to point out his defect, and he let those around him yank him off.

He strongly believes in the survival of the fittest. Despite his generally friendly nature, he will leave you to fight your own battles, and he will be open about it. This trait of his character has lead many dragons to dislike him, but the precious few appreciate the honesty.

He likes spending time with hatchlings, long accustomed to the idea that not all of them may reach adulthood. He tells stories he heard all over Sornieth during his travels before he settled with the clan and absolutely loves the fascination and love the hatchlings give him, too young to know why most adults don't like to see him with their young.

« Adrenaline coursed through his veins... the scent of blood filled his nostrils. »
Beer hissed sharply as he threw his opponent to the ground. They squirmed and growled at him as he pinned them and he laughed triumphantly. Once more, he had fought, and once more, he had won. The thrill of the fight, of winning, against a truly talented opponent was one of his greatest joys. Finding someone talented enough to pose a true challenge to him was as rare as her laugh, and he treasured it deeply.

Beer seems like the kind of dragon who will find and take abandoned hatchlings back to his clan and dump them on other parents. He sounds like the kind of dragon willing to give hatchlings a second chance but rather not deal with them himself, I bet he tell hatchlings about all his adventures too, he might not hold back with the details though...
