Biography
Ariel was beginning to think she was the only water-fearing dragon in the clan. At least, the only Cherub would have an obsession with. That is, until Scuttles scuttled into her heart. Named after the way the baby Snapper avoided a puddle, Ariel decided to take Scuttles under her wing. (literally) And raise her. Not without, of course, drawing the attention of the ever curious Cherub. Who now has two subjects to poke and prod with annoying questions....

Unknown to many other dragons, there exists a rare breed of dragons that appears to have scales made out of pure iron and steel! They mostly live in dark, dry caves and have excellent night vision due to this fact. Trying to avoid water at all cost, it can still happen that their scales get wet from time to time. You may wonder why that is a problem: Well, being exposed to water over time leads them to developing a patina of rust on top of their scales. Having a strong dislike of this (and flowstone caves!!!) they only leave their habitat when the sun burns fierce and hot. Sunbathing is one of their favourite activities – it makes their lives more bearable when the rust gradually disappears while exposed to sunlight – until the rain season starts again and the cycle starts anew. Rusty pebbles is what these funny dragons call themselves!
