Caretaker Prima

"As the first of the hatchlings, it is my duty to tend to all the hatchlings that follow after!"

Name Meaning: "first", "foremost/best", "chief", "principal"

Lore:
Daughter to the clan Progenitors, Patriarch Dignis and Matriarch Tiant. One of two eggs from the first clutch. First to crack her egg in the nest.

Often boisterous and dramatic, she and her sister, Arche, both insist on being the first hatchling of the clan: her sister was the first to completely shake off her shell, after all. Prima also has a bit of envy towards her sister for being the first of the two of them to get a tertiary gene added, believing the reason to be favoritism from their parents. She's also envious that her sister was able to have a first nest before her, feeling a bit resentful that she had to wait a little longer for her own mate to be ready. Still, the two love each other and when they were younger, they were often by each other's sides, looking out for one another.

When she was younger, she was obsessed with keeping herself clean, often insisting that it was so others knew her "natural colors match the rare colored eyes". While she isn't as insistent about her cleanliness now, she still gets frustrated, though, when dirtied, even when participating in sporting events that she loves.

Hatchlings and young dragons tend to like the games she organizes, and, because she hangs out with Starfall so often, she tends to end up around the young more often than most. That's how she ended up officially being a caretaker alongside Starfall.

Really, Prima greatly admires and respects Starfall, seeing him as a potential future patriarch to the clan if something happens to her father. She developed feelings for him while they were both quite young dragons, eventually telling him how she feels while they were both adolescents. Starfall reciprocated the feelings, and they eventually had their first nest together.

Eventually, Prima chose to become a Skydancer in part so that she and Starfall would stay as exclusive mates with no excuses to the contrary.
