Biography

Dire Claw Pelt Broken Arrow Haunting Houndskull Mariana is a hunter, once a humble citizen living on the outskirts of the Sunbeam Ruins, close to the shores of the Water Flight. Nimble and cunning, she uses magic and brute strength alike to conquer her foes.

Before she became a member of the Rosethorn College, Mariana lived alone and hunted for her food. She grew bold, and ventured into the Hewn City in search of stronger quarry. Here she met her match in the form of a colossal Pronghorn, which blinded her and left her for dead, bleeding and helpless.

Luckily, Alastair and other mages from the College were nearby, and found her after hearing the carnage. He took her back and helped her recover. Determined to continue hunting even without her eyesight, she learned to use sound and smell to track down her prey, soon becoming as powerful as she was before her accident.

Mariana never left the College, and is now employed as their resident hunter. She will hunt wild game for feasts, and also deal with more monstrous creatures that lurk in the forests around the ruins. She lives on the outskirts of the College grounds alongside Camellia in an old oak tree, sleeping in the upper branches.
