Chisel

at the dark hour of Sornieth, in the Dragonhome's Greatwyrm's Breach, there was a pearlcatcher tending to crops, it stormed here and there as he would sow some seeds, in his company, there was a scarecrow, stuffed with twigs, leaves and a sepia woodmask on its head. Shaped like a spiral, it would intimidate any creature that would dare to come into this farmer's field.

This day however, that would change, a lightning bolt struck the scarecrow, a green smoke coming off of it, the scarecrow's eyes blinked, the white pupils looking to her surroundings, a scythe appearing near, she would spiral into the air and let out a shriek as she would start to show signs that she lived.

Her eyes would go to the shivering farmer, he was in fear as the spiral bolted for him with scythe raised, the pearlcatcher shouting for help until he would stop, his skin turning white as the pearl wrapped in his tail would start to shatter then would get another hit, completely breaking as he would too blow away into the wind like dust.

The spiral, now experiencing her purpose as she would fly off into the night.
