Kamala is a Neutral. He's Tuhkat's loyal pirate. Not only does Kamala fight well, his stealing is top-of-the-line. It helps that he's undead too.

Kamala hatched on a pirate ship and died on a pirate ship. Yes, you read that right, he died. Being a pirate isn't easy. Kamala was battling against a clan of wildclaws when one of them backstabbed him with a dagger. Of course, he fell down dead. At the end of the battle, only three pirates were alive. They abandoned Kamala, thinking he was going to stay dead, which was a completely reasonable thought. When Kamala woke up, he was shocked. How was he still alive? He wasn't. He looked down and saw the hole through his chest. He was so shocked he didn't notice the wildclaws walking towards him.
"Hey, I thought I killed you," hissed one of the wildclaws. The wildclaw tried to stab Kamala again, but to the shock of everyone, it didn't kill him. It finally clicked in Kamala's head that he was undead, a zombie. He could do whatever he wanted, and nobody could stop him! He picked a sword from a dead wildclaw and killed the two dragons. Then he went on his way, plundering and killing as he went. It wasn't long before Kamala joined Tuhkat. The two of them got along pretty well. He is now one of Tuhkat's favorite Neutrals. He's almost the best Neutral out there.

Don't bother asking Kamala about rebelling against Tuhkat. He'll kill you. He likes Tuhkat, probably because he lets him steal and kill all he wants.
