Biography

Tips for using the family tree linked above:
Click on Options and turn on Profession and Company to see owner and breed.
Click on "Back to me" to refocus the tree on Melomanic.

melomanic (adjective)
characterized by a great enthusiasm for music

Before Melomanic settled in this lair, he and his former partner Malachite raised thirteen hatchlings. Since then, hundreds of descendants have filled Melo and Malachite's family tree, but a staggeringly high percentage of their family now serves the deities through exaltation. The same is true for most of Melo's siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Of the few who are still able to breed, most have not nested in years.

On the bright side, Melo's family is far from going extinct. After Melomanic and Malachite separated in mid 2022, Melo found a new home in this lair and a new partner, Elachee. He and El are watching over new generations of their family and providing a safe haven for some of Melo's surviving ancestors and descendants from his former partnership.

Before beginning his new life here, Melomanic had:
  • 13 children, 5 of whom were exalted (38%)
  • 78 grandchildren, 64 of whom were exalted (82%)
  • 50 great-grandchildren, 38 of whom were exalted (76%)
  • 70 great-great-grandchildren, 49 of whom were exalted (70%)
  • 56 third great-grandchildren, 46 of whom were exalted (82%)
  • 10 fourth great-grandchildren, 8 of whom were exalted (80%)

In total, he had 277 descendants, 210 of whom were exalted (76%) before he arrived here. It is worth noting that a couple of branches of his family tree with Malachite are still expanding little-by-little. And of course his new tree planted with Elachee is now growing mightily, too!
