A BEJEWELED DRAGON is sitting outside in the courtyard reading, a gentle breeze ruffling immaculately polished feathers and expensive-looking jewellery. Regal looking, indeed - you clear your throat politely to get their attention. "Hm? Oh, hi! Have we, um, met before?" He looks friendly, but deeply confused, a vacant expression clashing in your mind with such a scholarly appearance. You answer: >> Many times. Don't you remember me? "Oh, of course, my...good...friend!" The confused look he's giving you does not change, and there's no sign of recognition in his face. "What brings you all the way over here, to uh....what was I just doing?" He glances down at the book in his hands as though it's written in an ancient language. Peering at it, you can see it's the latest instalment of My Friendly Unicorn, the series for hatchlings. >> Uh...no. I just came over from the rescue. "Oh!" His face lights up immediately. "Would you like to come see the rescue archives, then? You're in the right place. I'm Alastair, keeper of rescue history." He closes the book he was reading and stands up with a smile, beckoning you towards the building that borders this greenspace. "Keep reading from here to learn about all of the dragons that have come before, and feel free to ask if you have questions about where things are kept! I mean, I...can't promise I'll actually remember the answers or anything, but, uh. I can definitely try." |

He's training to replace Viktor as the Kelp Beds Leviathan Grinder, and also is waitin on some genes and an eye type. (Though really, he's just waiting on me to grind my Baldwin cauldron to the correct level...:pensive:) I love him so much. Unfortunately (or rather fortunately), I ended up exalting the Vilbur he was adopted to be the counterpart of for Lore Reasons, but he remains, as grumpy as ever. |

I've had them for the longest time without lore, but I love them and recently have been poking about with more lore! So far, Friesian will be a tinkerer and Lyric teaches classes on how to use a dagger for my clan. Lyric is not that fond of blood though, so takes safety very seriously and more enjoys the discipline it requires. She also helps Friesian and GreySkies test out their fighting-orientated inventions! Speaking of Greyskies, he took quite a bit after Friesian and enjoys inventing contraptions! His brother, SoftSkies (named after their pairing, when I first saw them), is more of an explorer/scout for my clan! I'm so far planning to give Friesian the Smoke or Keel tertiary, GreySkies will likely get Runes or Firefly, and SoftSkies is almost certainly getting Keel! (The purple of Cerise Keel works so well for him.) |
