THE VISION FAMILY TREE PROJECT

What is the VFT?
The VFT is an extensive family tree made on the Family Echo site. It is a massive WIP, and likely won't be finished anytime soon (if ever), but it's something very fun for me to work on now and then! Essentially, I am mapping out Vision's entire bloodline; from his children, his siblings, his sibling's children, those children's children, and so on. So far we're well over 1000 dragons!!

With this project, I have also started collecting dragons I find for sale in his tree, simply because I think that's fun. Any dragon I receive that is on Vision's family tree will have the above image included in their profile, with a link back to this page. If anyone else finds out that their dragon is on the tree, you are more than welcome to add the image to their page as well, using the code below:

Vision is a scholar. You will know this, as he will make you aware of it.

He's a pretentious spiral with a level of arrogance rivaling Patience's so hard that Patience doesn't even try to compete. Luckily for the fae, he never claims to be intelligent, as Vision would have a harsh rebuttal against such a thing because he HAS to be the smartest dragon in the room or else he'll throw a tantrum.

Speaks in the most flowery, verbose language possible, as though speaking directly from a thesaurus. Also the kinda guy to use "ergo" and "how quaint" and "hither" and. He's obnoxious. Most dragons here think he's incredibly annoying. But honestly he takes great pride in living in dragons' heads rent free, so if he knows he's annoying to you, he will be sure to keep it up. Because he also sucks.

It doesn't help that is actually is very knowledgeable, as he's gained wisdom in age and is constantly writing in or reading whatever scrolls and books he can get his little hands on. Has traveled Sornieth collecting various studies and novels, as well as writing - yet never publishing - many of his own.

On top of everything, he's a bit, um... Hm. How to put this to get past censors. He can be a bit immodest. A little indecent, even, in how he presents himself. Might even be referred to as scandalous.
He's also, much to the surprise of any dragon that tries to argue with him, a massively snide flirt. This has clearly worked out in the past given his list of offspring.

But one thing to keep in mind is that he's also World's #1 Most Absent Dad, as he does not care for his children or where they end up. Nor will he help in caring for them. They really aren't his problem.

He's a jerk. I hate him. I'm obsessed with him. He's got my entire head.

As for how he got into The Incompetence... He claims he's come here to study the plague, as not many books outside of the Wastelands dare to experiment with it, and how these horrible disease-infested beasts can stand this place. Oh yeah he also looks down on plague dragons with disgust but that's not really surprising.
...But whether that's why he actually ended up here, well. :) I might have other ideas. Not 100% sure on em yet, but we'll see!

Often likes to tout that his father was of the God-blooded subspecies, whatever that means. If prompted to explain he'll mention having strong ties to destiny through ichor or some such nonsense, and Patience will respond with a dazzled grin and a point and a "look, see! Fate on my side!"
(Vision himself is not registered under the God-Blooded subspecies; I only found out about it while looking at his father's page! It doesn't seem to really be active anymore, unfortunately, otherwise I would request him to be registered for funny lore. As it stands, though, just seemed like something fun to mention in his bio, as he'd absolutely be the type to brag such a thing)
