Lament holds a secret grudge towards the Guild. He believes that the Guild is corrupted and only cares about the profit they make. And how they're selective of who they choose to help, and who to let defend themselves. His beliefs are caused by the help that never arrived to aid his family a long time ago.

The beasts of the land destroyed his homestead, a great mansion build over generations. He lost everything, and eventually, his grief turned into vengeance and Lament found himself with the Fiends. They promised to aid him with the revenge he so desperately sought, and in return, Lament agreed to spy for them.

So he joined the Guild and became one of the Night Guards, the cover of the darkness would allow him to do shady deals with the agents from the Fiends, and no one would question his absence during the daytime.

No one seems to suspect anything of him, as Lament prefers to keep his distance from the Guild members. He also does gets his job done quite well, so there is no reason to think there would be a spy among them.

Trivia:
- Theme music.
- Lament is one of the spies of the Rogues, trying to bring down the guild from the inside.
