Though many dragons of the clan like to read books, Marie is the one that makes sure that they are all organized, and that the clan acquires any new ones that it can. Blessed by the Lightweaver, Marie is a philosopher, and loves to debate over the nature of dragonkind and all that malarkey. She often butts heads with Arkan. She prefers logical argument over fighting, but she will throw hands if anyone lays a single claw on her Gem Guardian.

Marie makes custom bookmarks for each different topic in her library; books about nature have bookmarks made out of pressed leaves/flowers or are covered in little drawings of plants or animals, autobiographies have images relating to the subject and so on. She'll happily give these special bookmarks out to interested hatchlings if asked, as long as they promise to look after them!
