——The night is quiet. The kind of quiet that the soft patter of rain on wet pine needles makes, and the sound of white noise gently crackling from a distant radio. The only movement is from the droplets; nothing else stirs.
——The peace is absolute. You don't know this forest, you don't know where you are, or how you got here, or even really who you are. But you aren't afraid. These woods are alien, but not malevolent. The trees are ancient. The rain has seen countless ages. Neither have changed, and neither have ceased.
——You sense a presence. Vast, ageless, and completely unknowable. It's getting nearer, and with it comes the sound of that distant radio. The static harmonises with the misty song of the rain, creating a sublime soundscape that seems to rise and fall with its own melody. You can't tell if you're actually hearing it, or if your mind is playing tricks.
——You decide it doesn't matter either way.
——The presence is close now. You feel you could reach out and touch it, if it let you. A moment passes, then the impression of speech flickers from the white noise surrounding you.
——Hello. What were you looking for?
Some design notes:
- The only solid thing about the Crown is his... well, crown. It's always there in some form, whether that's hologram, some white horns on his forehead, or even clothes or markings. It can be tiny and any shape or size, as long as it's clearly there and reads as a crown. Simplify it as much as you want!
- If there's no crown, it's not him.
- Literally anything else about him can change. Don't wanna draw his primal? Get rid of his eyes altogether! Don't wanna deal with metallic? Draw it as basic! Wings not working for you? Get rid of 'em! Don't want to draw him as an obelisk? Go nuts and draw him as a mith, or a serthis, or a spiral. I'm serious when I say anything goes, FR or not. Heck, you can even draw him as a mug.
- The only caveat to this is to please refrain from drawing him in feminine coded things. I'm a trans guy and given he's my sona dragon, it makes me very uncomfortable.

- Definitely not at this time. However, I am utterly notorious for being unable to hold onto dragons, so I'm not gonna give a hard no. Please don't make offers right now though!

Whatever, impulse or not I have exactly zero regrets.
