Biography
Asclepius - The Physician
Asclepius was born with a smaller pool of mana than dragons of his species, as well as an inability to cast all but the simplest, most rudimentary magic. As such, he'd never really seen the reason why willing flora into bloom and refreshing fauna with magic to promote an overgrowth of life was a good thing, especially when it would be less taxing to keep existing flora healthy by watering and tilling the soil instead. However, the clan elders were understanding, and while his peers were taught how to channel their innate magic, Asclepius learnt the dual arts of healing and medicine from the clan's healer, a kindly Tundra. He would experiment with the methods he'd learnt, changing up to see if it made a difference, and this curiosity led to one of his first discoveries: although clay was good for an upset stomach, clay mixed with brucite was more efficient, and washing it down with some honey would offset the foul taste.
This finding would be the first of many to come, and Asclepius' knowledge grew so much, when the beloved Tundra stepped down in preparation for Exaltation to the Gladekeeper's service, Asclepius was nominated as her successor despite his youth, becoming the youngest healer in the clan's history. Over the course of his lengthy service, he imparted his wisdom and knowledge to many eager pupils, while continuing his experimentation wherever he could. Eventually, Asclepius stepped down from his post in favour of his most talented student, but continued to serve as a consultant.
Although healing was a rewarding undertaking, Asclepius still wished to expand his knowledge even further. Then one day, the clan received two visitors: a Coatl with strikingly pale plumage, and a brightly colored Fae. The two introduced themselves as being from The Fulmineous Phrontistery, an organization that was part research center, part think tank, and part laboratory. They had heard of Asclepius' skill, and extended an invitation for him to join the Phrontistery.
Sensing an opportunity, Asclepius inquired if it would be possible to continue his experimentation, and upon receiving an affirmative, gathered the clan and let them know that he was leaving.
That night, a celebration was hosted in Asclepius' honor, and the next morning, the three dragons set off towards the Phrontistery, where Asclepius has remained ever since, barring occasional visits to his home clan. He spends his days looking into gene therapy and genetic modification, drawing inspiration from mysterious scrolls that were said to be able to rewrite a dragon's very DNA, changing their patterns, coloration, and even their breed.

Due to his inability to cast anything beyond the weakest of magic, his internal mana stores have gradually merged with him in lieu of being used. He now has highly enhanced regenerative abilities, slowed aging, and boasts immunity to disease, as well as gene scrolls of any kind due to his body regenerating before the changes can take hold.
His partner is able to cast magic, and ministers to injured familiars. However, if need be, this skilled Kamaitachi can heal dragons (though due to the low compatibility between dragon physiology and Salve Kamaitachi magic, this is more of a stopgap measure).
Instinctively seen as 'safe' by snakes. Has a pet snake himself - her name is Elixir.
