Hello, traveler. Why don’t you come sit by the fire? You seem cold. I see you eyeing my pearl. Would you like to hold it? No? Whyever not? Ah, because it’s red, perhaps? Yes, that does seem to give away the fact that it’s infused with blood magic. Yes, blood magic. The best magic there is. Of course I infused it myself! Not under duress, either. I tainted my pearl myself. Now when it touches unwary dragons it causes them to break out in big bleeding rashes that itch and spread and itch and itch and itch. It’s so wonderful to see. For me, at least. Not so much for the victim. Ooh, I hate that word. Not really. I love the sound of victim. But others don’t seem to like that I like it. How about we go with... the affected. Yes yes, the one affected by the pearl.

What’s that? You’re wondering why I tried to curse you? I don’t even know you? Of course; that’s why! It’s amusing to pull the wings off of a fly, right? No? Well, I find it amusing. The point is, I enjoy seeing others suffer and bleed the way I did. No, I’m not going to tell you that story. Okay, maybe I will. Hold my pearl for a sec, would ya?
