GLASSBLOWER—ASCETIC—MELLOW

Junis was raised at a tiny seaside temple by a tight enclave of monks and nuns. They were a kind bunch — until Junis was born, that is. Junis’ mother was shunned from the community; as they raised him, the temple staff made sure to remind Junis that his deafness was his mother’s greatest punishment of all, a curse bestowed by the Windsinger himself. (But we all know that is simply not a thing the Windsinger would do.) Junis left the temple years ago, searching for his mother but also looking to lead a more adventure-filled life befitting of the Windsinger's children. He now resides in Corona, where he enjoys the romance that the breeze stirs up for him, taking daily trips to the market to see the pretty florist under the guise of buying peonies. He has even discovered a new hobby making glass-blown windchimes. Although he might not be able to hear the twinkling of his creations, when he sees the way they twirl in the wind he is reminded that life under the Windsinger’s guidance is quite blessed indeed.
